Narrowcast Distribution Unit

The new NDU-2x4 Narrowcast Distribution Unit is the latest addition to our Narrowcast Distribution Platform, designed for simple and easy control of narrowcast signals. The NDU-2x4 routes each of two broadcast feeds into four independently wired combining modules for addition of up to four narrowcast services per module. Each module provides a single combined output, with four combined signals for each broadcast input - eight outputs in all.  Outputs can be directly connected. to optical transmitters. Narrowcast services can be individually selected for each of the combining modules. The NDU-2x4 eliminates interruptions to existing services when adding or changing other services.

The integrated 1RU design simplifies installation, maximizes rack space and minimizes setup time. The passive design allows unit stacking to maximize density. The unit includes front mounted test ports (eight) for each combined output and for broadcast inputs (two). The unit provides high isolation between module input ports and between modules as well as excellent return and insertion loss performance.
