Narrowcast Distribution Unit

The new NDU-8A routes a single broadcast feed into eight independently wired modules for insertion of up to four narrowcast services per module. Narrowcast services can be individually selected for each of the eight combiner modules. Single output per combiner module, eight outputs per 1RU unit, for direct connection to optical transmitter. No interruption of existing services when adding or subtracting narrowcast services.

Integrated design simplifies installation with no setup. Passive design allows unit stacking to maximize density. Eight front mounted test ports for each combined output and one test port for broadcast input. The unit provides high isolation between module input ports and between modules; excellent return and insertion loss.
